676 | The Wild Side | South Point, Hawaii

The story behind the picture:

Speaking of Hawaii, most people immediately think of wonderful sandy beaches. However, before such beaches develop, the water whips thousands of years at such spiky lava stones. The wild water makes photography in these places not really safe. Therefore, it is advisable to keep your feet dry.
This picture shows the south of the Big Island of Hawaii at sunset. On the left-hand side in the picture you can see the shadow of the largest mountain in the world, Mauna Loa."

675 | Close your Eyes | South Point, Hawaii

The story behind the picture:

"Close your eyes and imagine the place where you found your inner peace. At this magical place, you breathe in deeper and sleep as if on clouds. This one place is for me this little house deep in the jungle of Hawaii. Far away from the tourist attractions. No reception with the mobile phone, the water out of the water tank and powered by solar energy. When I arrive here, after driving through the jungle, I inevitably have a smile on my face.
Here I have experienced everything from storms to clear nights. But every day was a special one. This picture shows the only night so far in which I could see the Milky Way above the house. "

674 | Wonders of Chli Aubrig | Vorderthal, Switzerland

The story behind the picture:

Mount Chli Aubrig (1642m) might seem for most of the people unremarkable, but this mountain remembers me a lot of my childhood. In this night it was part of a special constellation in the universe. The zodiac sign Scorpius with its orange star Antares placed itself above the summit.
