The story behind the picture: This photo shows Central Switzerland in winter with the city of Lucerne and Lake of Lucerne in focus. You can see what the stars are up to if you are going to expose them long enough. For this particular picture a total exposure of 104 minutes was used and contains 419 x 15 seconds shots. On this Monday evening in December I was standing on top of Mount Pilatus (2128) for about 15 hours. Although I booked a warm room in the hotel I just used it to recharge my batteries.
