The story behind the picture: After a crystal clear night in the Glarus Alps clouds were moving in and covered the glacier Vrenelis Gärtli. I packed my gear and started hiking down the mountain. When walking I realized that the clouds started to get a reddish color. Therefore, I sprinted back up the hill where I spent the night and mounted my camera on the tripod in a hurry. In that moment the spectacle kicked off and the clouds were burning. The timing of the clouds couldn’t be more perfect. Everytime when I see this picture I have the feeling that Mount Glärnisch (2914m) is a mighty volcano which is watching over the city of Glarus. Calculate Price
