The story behind the picture: The caldera of the volcano Haleakala on Maui at sunrise, this is how I remembered it. Four years ago, I hiked through the caldera which was on my bucket list since I’ve seen the volcano for the first time. This hike was harder than I had expected. More than four hours at 3000 meters above sea level was very exhausting. It felt like I had heavy stones in my shoes.
