The story behind the picture: This photo has been taken from the Jagger Museum Overlook at the Kilauea Volcano (1247m) on the Big Island when the clouds where moving in above the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The weeks before I took this picture the lava lake had overflown into the Halemaumau Crater. Unfortunately some days before our arrival the lava lake had deflated and there was no more lava in sight. Nevertheless the glow of the volcano was stunning as always. Calculate Price
